Thanks. Unfortunately, the majority of the previous pic's in this thread have been destroyed by the photo hosting services (Photobucket, Flickr, etc.). Would be nice to see them, again.

Am starting the search for a preamp. Have fond memories of the BAT VK-31 (uses 6 of the 6JD8/6922 tubes rather than a pair of the 6H30 - for which there is essentially no tube-rolling). Probably start with something inexpensive, like the Schiit Saga, as am also a fan of the 6SN7 in a preamp.
