So, the 808v6 is the latest and I believe so is the DSP8kSE (even the 40th Anniversary can be upgraded to this same level - and the man who owned 3 sets does so, at an immense cost though) that I have heard. But the music is just so nice, so much more analogue, I could not believe it. Stranger being older DSP8k's can be brought up to the same level, not many systems can claim that. Cheers ![]()

Yes, the DSP8000SE is real true to the source. If the source is upgraded or more High-Def the DSP8000SE will render it.
I have only heard a pre-production 818v(3) on the DSP5200SE speakers and it was half a year ago. Alot has happened since then but I expect we should be able to hear the new versions 818v3 and 808v6 before christmas. ![]() |
