Default PerfectWave SACD Transport

Has anyone had any experience with this transport? Appears to be an innovative product from the description. The ability to play the SACD layer through a non-PS Audio DAC a significant plus.

I would steer clear of all PS Audio gear, I’ve heard from multiple dealers they may not see the year out due to financial difficulties.

Do we have any viable articles or other proof of this other then possibly disgruntled ex-dealers? Not saying it isn’t true just asking for confirmation before we start spreading this.

Scott Schroeder who was in management; he left PS Audio early this year. It could be a rumor, but after 4 different ex-dealers told me the same; I steered clear.

Spreading rumors like this based on hearsay can be very damaging to a business. How would ex-dealers know that they're having difficulties? Even if it's true, what are "financial difficulties"? A couple of late payments to vendors? Many established companies go through financial difficulties of one form or another and come out of them without it affecting product support. I think telling people to stay away from a reputable brand based on rumors is ill advised.
