R.I.P. Klaus Schulze

Klaus Schulze passed away april 26th…but I only learned of it today.

I had the good fortune to meet him in person during my teens. His music played a profound role during my early years on this blue dot. As I grew up I kind of lost track. Only a few months ago I started rediscovering his massive back catalogue.

IMHO…he was unique in the truest sense of the word…a maverick without equal.
…although his influence on electronic music is undeniable…somehow he never received the kudos he was due…

I will remember him as a gentle and humble soul who put his music first…opening doors to new worlds for others to explore…he will be missed
