I took apart the bottom plate, nothing looks out of sorts. I was attempting to take off the screws for the board that holds the tubes (with them still inside, I know, mistake) but can't get enough movement. The only other place I can think of is the top plate that holds the tubes may have something there. More exploring is necessary.

Not now, whatever was rolling around must have gotten stuck somewhere. I don't have a screwdriver to fit the cage on top to take it off. Once I get the cage off, I don't know if I can just remove the plate surrounding the tubes and look in there.

do you mean that you don't have a long enough screwdriver fot removing the cage protecting the tubes ?

I just came back from Lowes and picked up a 6" screwdriver. I took a chance and powered up the amp. Wow! sounds great. Tubes are biased. Does anyone know if the phase is inverting or not on the MV60? Pics to follow... Joe |

I thought so. It's backwards now I'll reverse it when I power down in a little while. |
