Default New Sim Moon 280 D inbound

Ordered a new streamer Dac today. Airfreight from Montreal to Vancouver will arrive Wednesday. Highly recommended by a number of magazines. I had the pleasure of hearing it with a similar setup as mine and was so impressed I ordered one within a few days.
Ordered the 280 D with the Mind module so full streaming as well as a full featured DAC.

Purchased my first ever Sim Moon Product (260D) in January and absolutely love it.
Great build quality and sound.

Enjoy in good health.

Congratulations Slimbo. Simaudio makes excellent products, I've always been impressed with their gear and this streamer/DAC has gotten very good reviews.

Slimbo.......The Moon Neo 280D is a feature rich DAC at a great price point. Good looking component, too.

Here is the SoundStage review: http://www.soundstagehifi.com/index....alog-converter

I look forward to hearing how you like your 280D. My local audio shop owner is encouraging me to buy one sans the Mind module.

So far very happy the DAC has better bass control than my Aurilac Aries and the Mind app and implementation is excellent.
I strongly recommend you look at it as well.
My dealer feels you would have to spend considerably more to better the DAC having the Mind also is like a free bonus!

Well the upgrade itis struck again and I've just come home with my new Moon Neo 380 D with variable outputs and mind
With it hooked directly to the amp with balanced cables and hooked to the Melco by USB the sound is fantastic right out of the box.

Slimbo.......Congratulations on the upgrade. It looks great in the silver and black combination.

Tone Audio did a nice review of the Moon Neo 380 D DAC.

I just committed to buying a 280d from my dealer. In addition to sounding better, the 380d sure is a lot sexier looking!
