I like Freedman's too. On a good day he has the best pork ribs in the city. Only BBQ joint in town with a full blown bar serving craft cocktails.


Edit Edit Edit. The County Line BBQ on the Lake and Hill both have full bars!! One is on Lake Austin and the other on Top of the Hill in Westlake Hills, but I consider them to be tourist BBQ joints. The BBQ is good, but not great. Both locations are a place to take family members from out of town. All the great places have lines and are kind of dumps. Most without AC.
