I own the 866 integrated amp --- like it a lot.
I'm thinking to upgrade to their separates, specifically the 1110 preamp and 1161 amp. Does anyone have comments on this upgrade? |

For a period of time I used the 866 integrated as a loaner until my amp arrived. As good as the 866 is the difference when moving to the separates was a major improvement. It will of course be dependent on your speakers, but once you experience the difference you will not want to go back! It simply took everything that makes Boulder sound so awesome and put it on steroids.
