Beautiful setup, Dean. The new S3.4s look "cherry" indeed!

I have a pretty good idea of how they would sound but please post your impressions as you get time with the speakers.

I think I'm going to wait for my new turntable and then lay it out all at once.

I will say that getting the S3.4s and then changing the room a little has been a huge game changer for the sound of my system. The S1.4s are a fantastic speaker, and yet the S3.4s really give me me that extra bit of what I was looking for, especially with classical music (from solo to orchestral to opera). With the extra mid/bass driver and significant increase in cabinet volume I am getting more sound loading the room and more satisfying performance in the mids. I've kept the REL sub too, but now I have it set at the lowest crossover point (30 Hz). Any higher and I start losing midrange definition.

I'm still powering my Dyns with a Naim Audio NAP250-2, but the Dyns changed from S1.4s to S3.4s.

We're going to repaint the back wall, since it was done to match the Maple finish of the S1.4s. It doesn't really work with the Cherry finish of the S3.4s.

congrats.....lovely room Dean, I do like it a lot

I am using Plinius SA100Mk3 and M16 for my Dyn 72, thinking of changing to Bryston 4BSST , is this a good choice? also thinking of upgrade 72 to F340 in future .

Default Hi all!

Hi to all the fellow Dynaudio users. As you can tell I am new to the forum, but am excited by all the willing (and knowledgeable) contributors. Anyone else here using Consonance Monoblocks (845 tubes) with their S3.4 - I am really enjoying this combo at the moment.

When they authorities allow me, I will modify my signature with my other components.

Mike

I used to power a Focus 140 with a Naim rig. I´m always reminded of a tune by the band Cake: The Distance “he´s going the distance, he´s going for speed...” the sheer drive that combination put out was amazing, some of most pleasurable experiences i had with hi-fi were with this rig.
Now i am feeding Dynaudio C2 speakers with an Accuphase E-212 integrated.

Thank you Dean
The thing with Naim, is that it is hard to describe. One of my favourite brands. You have a great system and that NAP250 is one of my favourites of their range, to top it you would need a NAP500.
