Thank you. I started transitioning my photos to RaceTripper Photos at Smugmug some time ago, but haven't made much progress lately. I have about 10K photos waiting for me to cull and process. I guess if I made money off of it that might motivate me more to get it done.

FWIW, I run AA on four different platforms at all times to monitor it's performance and reliability.

Heh, I've been meaning to re-do my photo portfolio for years now, but I never get around to it. In large part because I take next to no photos anymore, and it never was more than a hobby anyway, with no one ever even looking at the photos

Thanks, Joe.

I've looked at Dean's work and he is an excellent photographer producing superb imagery. His understanding, control, and use of light and lighting quality are standouts for me, as are his compositional skills.

Wow. Thanks for such a high compliment. I appreciate it.

I think I am way overrated. I'm really more of hack that gets lucky with a small percentage of shots.

RaceTripper,
Being the vinyl lover you are do you visit Euclid Records much? I grew up in S. IL, undergrad at Univ. of Misery - Rolla, many trips to Euclid.

Yes, I go to Euclid now and then. It's in Webster Groves now. It might have still been in the CWE when you were here. I mostly get new, sealed Jazz reissues & occasionally classic rock. Most of the used vinyl I have seen there and was interested in is either in poor shape or overpriced. They also carry no classical whatsoever.

I also go to Vintage Vinyl in the Delmar loop. That is in walking distance from me.

I did graduate studies in CS at Rolla's extension in St. Louis, on the UMSL campus. Never finished my M.S. though.

Well...the mods have seen fit to issue me a reprieve. Some of you already know me...all too well...as being a guy who sometimes has trouble coloring within the lines. It's been explained to me that this site has a different slant than some others, and that sort of behavior will not be tolerated. Fair enough; now that I know the rules, I'll certainly abide...or have no surprises about suffering the consequences.

But if I do or post nothing else here at AA, I would like to apologize to RaceTripper, and the group. It was a misunderstanding, I handled it wrong...and I think RT is a quality enthusiast.

No one here owes me an apology of any kind nor for any reason, and I for one am pleased to see your return to these shores.

I look forward to more good analog/digital dialog. It's all about music after all.

Welcome back CD!
