Now you got me thinking...does bypass equal less wear and tear. Perhaps others can chime in here...

FYI- one can run an active crossover or MEN220 after the C2500, in order to utilize a sub for both systems. Ensure that you turn off the LFE and Sub channel in the processor and select LFE to be routed to the left and right channels. Keep the crossover setting for the center& surroud the same as you use in the active crossover. Typically 80hz.
