Default MT10 Dust Cover

I finally bit the bullet and purchased an an acrylic cover for the MT10. I found one on eBay. Cost, $389.95

But, I first contacted the ClearAudio distributer and the rep I spoke with highly urged me not to buy the CA cover but to purchase the one on eBay. So I did.

I purchased the cover not for just reasons and I do like the little low provide easy to use leather like/suede or whatever cover. But, I have a deep concern that using it will screw up the tone arm alignment. I am not a fan of the cover resting on the weight and coming into contact with the equipment I just paid money to have perfectly aligned to accommodate my new Ortofon Windfeld cartridge.

Once it arrives, I will post photos.

Anyone else purchase a cover for their MT10?

Way off topic!
Ivan...gosh...I still want that VPI HRX. I downloaded the owners manual last night and drooled. But, I would have to figure out what to do with the MT10. I'm in love with that VPI HRX. The MT10 is a very nice machine but, that VPI is is [not appropriate wording bleeeeeeeeeeeeep]

Here's a thought. After the Munich show and McIntosh doesn't update the upper C line, the C1000 will let me run two TTs. One for the T and another for the P - Boom!

Yeah, my eye is on the C1000, mainly because the remote is totally killer! lol
