Here’s the new one. The BrooksCambium seat will be replaced by another B17 next week, but this is the build. Love the pinion gearing and gates belt. 44 mm tires will both carry lots of stuff and are pretty gentle on the rearend. I haven’t ridden it under load yet, but will in the next several weeks. I really like the 650B sized rims - not too tall and not too short. IMG_2569.jpg

I think this forum has an algorithm or something that displays these pictures. This thread doesn’t show the new post of my boring bicycle shot in the stream, it shows ....

Nice bike! I’m riding the same, only I’ve upgraded to the Trigger1 specs. The rear Fox shock made a huge improvement for flat riding, and the brake upgrade to Shimano Deore XT M8000’s was more than worth the money for the downhill confidence. Also had to swap out that front handlebar for 620mm carbon one to fit through the narrow tree runs here on the east coast. Local shop keeps trying to get me to trade in for a new 27.5 model, but I’m just so happy with the current set-up that I don’t see enough of a return on the upgrade investment to make it worth while.

Been a while since we've visited here. Tuning up my '02 Scapin EOS3 with Campy Centaur 10-spd group & Campy Scirocco wheelset for inevitable arrival of spring. Can't wait.
