50 Years Ago
On this day 50 Years ago I entered the military induction center in Boise Idaho, raised my right hand and took an oath. That was the beginning of my active military service in the United States Air Force.
I would do it all again if asked.

I read your post without giving much thought to the math. This morning I did the math and realized 50yrs ago (Jan. 31st 1972) I reported to Lexington Bluegrass Army Depot and began my DOD career as an electronic tech WG8-3. At that grade I made $3.73 an hour, thought it was a huge sum of money, more than my father ever made.
