I am also a lifetime subscriber.
When I switched over to Roon from JRiver I was struck by the user interface and the ease of operation. I believe I was only subscribed for the first year when I converted to lifetime.

Not a Lifetime subscriber yet, but am strongly inclined to make the change before the price change. I started using about 6 months agp and it has dramatically changed my listening experience for the positive- I have Roon and Qobuz and together I am hearing a much greater variety of music and the experience has become even more enjoyable.
