Default Your Top Six Keyboard Players

I did a search on this topic and nothing turned up, so here I go. If there IS a thread like this already, my apologies.

Inspired by the top 5 guitarists thread, who are your top 6 or favorite keyboardists at the moment? Here are mine in no particular order:

1. Keith Emerson
2. Rick Wakeman
3. Yuja Wang
4. Joey DeFrancesco
5. Eliane Elias
6. Artur Rubinstein

I think of the keyboardists laying down a strong undercurrent to the recording, rather than strength in soloing.

That said, Reese Wynans (formerly Stevie Ray Vaughan's keyboardist but now doing some solo stuff) and Bill Payne (Little Feat and multiple appearances with other artists) rank high on my list.

When you consider all the great pianists in jazz, classical, New Orleans boogie/funk, blues, rock, etc., I can’t find a way to pair it down to 6.

Keith Jarrett
Bill Evans
Nicky Hopkins
McCoy Tyner
Mac Rebennack (Dr. John)
Murray Perahia
Gregg Allman
Pinetop Perkins
Alfred Brendel
Horace Silver
Vladimir Horowitz

If we can include pianists

Víkingur Ólafsson

He must be an alien because his playing is otherworldly.

Had the good fortune to see him play live…still getting goosebumps thinking about it.
