The 1110 is just as impressive.

The sound is more effortless, quieter, detailed, holographic. Who knew the 3060 had even more? The user interface is OMG. No more waiting 90 seconds -- turns on instantly. Everything is immediate. The remote is way better. No more umbilicals, no more tubes. It looks stunning with the sculpted front.

Awesome. What did it replace? Did you compare it vs the 2110?

Could not agree more. That 3060 must drive those Sonja's effortlessly.

Replaces an Audio Research Reference Anniversary that I've had for almost 10 years.

I compared my 1110 (newly built and being tested) to the 3010 at the factory on Boulder's Focal Grande Utopia speakers. Boulder did not have their 2110 on hand when I was there last month so I have never heard them back to back on same speakers. I have heard the 2110 recently with Wilson XLFs.

How does it compare to the AR anniversary, and also to Boulder bigger model?

The bigger Boulder is of course better in every way on the big Focals. I would expect the difference to be even more noticeable on the YG Sonjas. Although the difference was instantly noticeable, it was close. All the hallmarks of the 3010 seem to be in the 1110. The 3010 is the best pre I know of.

The AR has a sound that the Boulders do not - a warmer tone, slightly less detailed.
