Cable Isolators
I've looked through most of the system picture threads, love the eye candy, and I see almost no one using cable isolators. I've read on other forums people talking about the benefits and others, of course, others debunking them. Anyone here, other then myself, actually using ceramic cable isolators and have you personally seen any benefit?
I'm not sure I have, but they do look pretty cool. (I'm specially using cableisolators.com) Last edited by Masterlu; 10-25-2012 at 09:28 PM. Reason: direct links to non-sponsors have to be done this way ;) |

I have no idea if they impact the sound but I like being able to separate parallel cables and it looks better with the elevators.

The key is once you set them up, leave them...As soon as the runs are disturbed, it takes time for the wire to come good again... Last edited by MyPal; 10-26-2012 at 10:04 AM. |

Also, are you thinking it has more to do with EMI etc for parallel cables or could it also have value for the type of surface its on, i.e. carpet as opposed to a hard surface for static electricity? |

" Criss-crossing helps break parallel runs decreasing the effect of EMI contamination."
Also reversing the direction of power flow can help. What products are you using specifically? |
