Default Headlight - Tweeter Buzz Issue

Hi all,

Just hoping to get some help from the wise here. It appears that I have a grounding/electrical problem in my car. I hear a buzz coming from my tweeters at all times unless I turn my headlights to "On." When I do that, the buzzing stops. I don't know if this matters, but when the headlights are on 'Auto' and it's dark (forcing the headlights on), the buzzing still occurs. Again, I don't know if that distinction makes a difference, but only when the headlights are switched to "On," does the buzzing stop.

All thoughts are welcome. Thank you in advance.

It sounds like you and your car mechanic or audio tech are going to become real good friends!!

Good luck in a speedy solution.

Car audio has lots of noise with in the electrical system with all the computors and such and bleeds back to your car stereo, all to common......look into a noise suppressor any car audio shop have them, search on line and you will have many to choose from. Never thought you need a conditioner for your car stereo .....

FWIW, in car audio the first thing is always checking the grounds. Good luck.

Thank you for all of the help so far. It looks like I may need to get it checked out. Funny thing is that I don't have any aftermarket equipment, stereo or otherwise.
