Cyril.......Interesting new products from Olive. Notice that they are being called Music Systems, with the 6HD still being called a Music Server. The new 4HD and 5HD can be connected directly to speakers. It also appears the new screen is capacitive touch like an iPhone. That should improve the user interface, which also appears to have been updated to enhance user interface and rapid music selection. Olive still offers no digital inputs on these new offering. My older 04HD has a single coaxial digital input, the only model in Olives catalog to offer this feature. Time will tell how these two new Music Systems will be embraced.

It would be interesting to see how much faster the new OS is on the 6HD.

I thought only the 4&5 had the new OS?

Isn't the 6HD the same one they had for the last year or so?

Michael.......I wish the new user interface was available for the iPad. The present interface for the iPad connected wirelessly to the Olive 04HD is outdated by comparison, and offers no cover art except for what is presently being played. You have to choose artists and albums from a list. It is poor when compared to the new interface software.

Wonder what they mean by

"BUT WAIT, THERE IS ONE MORE THING
Join us to revolutionize your music at home."

They'll have an announcement in 16 days.
