Sacd player recommendation

I don't play any discs, using a TT, but was thinking of getting a player did very occasional use (living stereo classical discs). I am not sure if it makes sense as I don't want to spend much yet the rest of my gear is Shindo tubes.

Thoughts or any players that might make sense?

I may abandon the idea though.

What's your budget?

If you're just using it for occasional SACD listening, an OPPO BDP-95 will work well.

Looks like that would be the one. Output to my wadia dac?

But...does it make sense to buy one for limited use - or pay the premium for lps? (for those RCA classical discs, 50 of them , and cheaper than vinyl but need to buy the player!

Another vote for the Oppo. I would use the analog outs instead of an outboard DAC.

The Oppo has a very nice Sabre chip in it so there's no need to run it through your Wadia. You could just buy a cheap transport to hook up to your Wadia. If you're only going to play CD's occasionally you might be better off putting the money into LP's.

Is there a transport that would make sense for the wadia 121? And do sacd?

Otherwise sounds like a consensus.
