You could also try a device that converts USB into optical-digital or coaxial signal. Optical cables in particular can be run at very long lengths with little loss.
kfr01, I bought macbook finally, I put it to 121 sometime and feel good sound.

However, I have a new problem again, even Wadia sent back a new one to me from 3 months ago. Now I use my new 121 as pre-amp. I connect it as : Macbook(usb) > 121(xlr)> Power amp.

I found that 121 have big hum noise when my macbook connect with the AC charger, but haven't this problem if 121 to power amp by rca or my macbook not connect with AC charger. Also, a bit hum is always heard from the tweeter with an ear located inches away when music is not playing. Might this be a defective unit? or perhaps just the way 121 is? If anyone else experience this please share.
