Took a bit for them to break-in and I was initially underwhelmed. They were good, but not great, "right-out-of-the-box", as some would say. But, after ~300 hours they've really opened up. Same with the C22/MC275, which were also breaking in at the same time. After some judicious tube rolling everything has really come together and am very pleased. Believe I'll keep them (and the C22/MC275).

Yes. John is an interesting person and very 'deep' into music for someone his age. At least he looks young (says the 76yr old) to me.

Just rolled in a McIntosh MA8950 with the 0/93's. To my ears, the solid-state amp brings greater control and clarity to these speakers. Very pleased with the SQ. YMMV.
