Excellent choice. If my Dual 701 were to die I would also consider a new Technics. Excellent TTs. You might also look at the Denon (appears to be made by Technics) DJ turntable. Zu Audio has on sale for a good number.

Well after obsessing over videos of the 1210gae I decided I couldn't quite get over it not looking like the old school 1200s. Sure enough the dealer emailed me this morning saying he wasn't able to get any more, but has a 1200G in stock. So it looks like that's the direction I'll be heading.
