American Airlines
Looks like more problems for AA. In addition to the issues with pilot negotiations and having flight timeliness/cancellation challenges, several flights had issues with rows of seats being loose.
I'm flying AA to RMAF next week. Considering rebooking with another carrier. Mike

This is not a great time for American Airlines. Hopefully things will turn around for them soon.

AA still > UA.
Not that it's saying much... lol. VX is still the domestic carrier of choice for me.

From an employee stand point I would have to disagree with your first comment.... From a customer stand point both companies are in transition and it shows in their day to day operations.... And from a company stand point AA has a lot more hurdles to over come...

I've just flown from Orleans to Vegas with AA, seems alright to me. On time, courteus & eligible, seems to be smooth operations.

I recently flew AA and it was fine. I'm just concerned operations are deteriorating and, therefore, don't want to chance missing RMAF. Looking at my options.

AA's problems are due to bad karma from pulling the old TWA hub out of St. Louis and leaving Lambert a wasteland of an airport.

I'm out at air cargo once or twice a week. I used to use AA, but couldn't stand their attitude. They can't suck enough out there. Switched to Delta and they were fine. Southwest is by far my favorite cargo carrier. Those guys out at Lambert are courteous and the shipments arrive on time and most important they have refrigerators for my stuff. AA would leave my stuff set out at door 15, |
