I listen in the nearfield, plus I have a pretty nice headphone stage if I were to choose to use it. I must say it makes work a much more enjoyable place to be. The speakers are Harbeth HL-P3ES2. The really nice feature of the Esoteric SA-50 is I have a SP/DIF input from my work computer running J River with 12,000 songs at my fingertips

I could eventually set up something like this. Tough part is the discipline to avoid big(ger) sound volumes and / or wait until after working ours. A problem I don't have listening with headphones .

It takes a lot of willpower to turn the subs off sometimes. What is really nice though is the flexiblilty. I can set the Cary to SET mode (40 WPC), turn the subs off and have an "appropriate" volume level no louder outside my office than computer speakers really. After 5PM when everyone else goes home, I can then instantly immerse myself in full blown audio nirvana at the flip of a couple switches.

Let the flames begin - I have a Wave Radio/CD in my office. Please, Ivan, do not ban me form membership.

I use a NuForce Integrated driving some NHT SuperZeroIIs. Source comes from an HRT iStreamer iPod dock. I have to admit, I don't play it very often. I'm constantly on the phone.

I have a small pair of speakers (4.5" full range drivers) and a tiny 15wpc class-t integrated amplifier fed directly by the iPod.

I listen for at least a bit every day with the door closed. Sometimes I leave it on at a very low level (not audible to those walking by) with the door open.

My listening occurs when I need to shut-out the noise of the day and focus into a single project. Never music with words. Rather, I usually listen to single instrument solo violin or piano pieces.

Default Peachtree audio musicbox D4.5s

Hello, new to the forum. I have a peachtree audio music box with Peachtree (Era) D4.5s speakers. I run a Sonos Connect via coaxial and it is fantastic for a 12' x 16' room. I absolutely love the MXA60 but couldn't justify it for the office.

Do you use a DAC to connect the Sonos to the MXA60?
