Maybe it's time for me to move from Audirvana Plus to Audirvana Plus 2. I have noticed there are no longer updates provided for Audirvana Plus. However, it continues to work perfectly with my Mac Mini, although I haven't updated my Mac Mini to Yosemite or El Capitan. Does anyone know what the major differences are between Audirvana Plus and Audirvana Plus 2? Does it sound any better?

Thanks,
Ken

Ken,

I switched to Audirvana Plus 2 and really like it. Audirvana Plus 2 has a completely new interface for those who don’t integrate with iTunes and full DSD compatibility. The interface is sort of like iTunes Lite. Not all the bells and whistles but works well. There's an app available for iPhone and iPad that's pretty nicely done as well. Sound quality is excellent and seems a bit more detailed than v1 in my setup. If you install it in a separate folder, you can switch back and forth to decide which version you like best. It takes some time to get used to the new interface using the mobile app but I can't imagine going back now. Well worth the upgrade in my opinion. Hope this helps.
