Hi Roger, yes the WW cables are good, & they are all relative to their price point. My findings are the same as yours, I went from Kimber to Audioquest the same as the WW & then to the SE 6. The only thing that made me stop & think was the Platinum USB, if it was that good then how good would a full loom be. It's all gear relative & congrats on finding a great sound.

Hello Kev, I was curious, how would you describe the differences between the WW Platinum and Silver Eclipse ICs and speaker cables since you've had experience with both?

Roger

They are big brother & have more of everything as in they just let the music flow without coloration.

+1

Gold Eclipse takes you part way there, Platinum Eclipse completes the journey.

Thought I would add an update tonight. My Philly preamp with 1952 Western Electric tubes and Counterpoint power amp, matched with the Silver Eclipse speaker cables makes for some sweet listening sessions for acoustic Jazz. Acoustic instrument timbre sounds very accurate and natural without any listener fatigue. Stacey Kent and her band sound like they are performing right in my listening room!

Awesome news on your cables. I just installed my WW silver eclipse speaker cables this evening. Oddly, my old speakers have grown to be the size of my living room wall.

Hallo,

I have listen the new serie 7 and the serie 6 too. Wirewolrd is a very great cable.

I use Kimber monocle xl in this moment with my B&W802di (and kimber xlr between preampli & powerampli Passlab)

I will buy the Silver Eclipse 7 or Eclipse 7 as speaker cable (a fully silber will be too much analytical?! with a solid state ampli) or? Passlab gears
A bi wire version from wireworld is a "very bi wire" or are a "splitting from the "last 2 speakers connector in 4 cables? make sense buy the bi wire or a single wire with the jumpers?

find a version 6 can be a bargain....a lot of dealer make a very good price over the "old" version wireworld 6 versus 7 is a big difference?

i will replace the xlr between preampli and cdplayer/Dac with a silver eclipse or maybe a gold eclipse 7 and a Silver Eclipse 7 or Eclipse 7 for premapli-power ampli.

KubalaSosma Expression or Emotion is my other choice but i think that Wirewold is better....

please opinion!
Thx for your help,
Kr

Raidho, in my system the WireWorld Silver Eclipse speaker cables and ICs are very musical and I can relax in listening sessions without analyzing the sound or experiencing listener fatigue.

I would recommend the WW Silver Eclipse 6 or 7 speaker cables over the WW Eclipse speaker cables. The Silver Eclipse speaker cables and ICs are not bright cables.

Many senior members here at AA are using the WW Silver Eclipse speaker cables in their systems with satisfying results.

Roger
