Gear/cable matching can be tricky stuff, great to hear you've broken-thru!

I will have this for the speakers and a couple of Xlr between preampli and cd/dac.

I can confirm this, going from Kimber 3035 to WW Silver Eclipse.

Two pairs of WW Silver Eclipse ICs arrived today to complete my WW cable loom!

My first impression is the sound of the WW Silver Eclipse speaker cables is now smoother, more fleshed out and warmer through the WW Silver Eclipse ICs than my former combo of AZ Silver Reference & VDH ICs.

A little news from here... my Silver Eclipse 7 Speaker cables arrived today and have just been installed. Already like them better than the SE6's and far better than the MIT Magnum Ones. Increased clarity, definition and detail top to bottom. Very well made. More after they break in a while... but very nice right out of the box. And, they are now round. Guess I'm all loomed up with the SE7 ICs between amps.

Thanks Ivan...

A important bonus to the WW Silver Eclipse IC/speaker cable combination is more signal strength due to less losses in the cables. I can now use significantly lower volume settings through the preamp for more headroom to power amp.

A second bonus to the WW Sliver Eclipse 6 speaker cables and ICs producing less brightness in my system is that I have been able to substitute more accurate sounding preamp tubes in the Doge 8 line stage.

Easily able to hear the colorations in the Mullard CV4024 tubes through the WW loom, so substituted NOS 1960s Siemens E41CC triple micas--a very accurate tube with superior high frequency response--does wonders for classical and opera and adds higher resolution to other genres as well.

Roger

I listened to the Sound Stage Presents Chicago DVD tonight. What a more enjoyable, musical listening session with the WW loom cables than my old wires!

My first impressions about WW Silver Eclipse speaker cables have only become stronger now that they have approximately 125 hours burn in.

Great bass response from the WW SE makes it easy to follow bass and other rhythm lines I had trouble following with the Goertz speaker cables.

The WW SE speaker cables along with the addition of the other WW loom cables work together to present a lot of detail but at the same time a highly musical presentation with great tonal balance, accurate acoustic instrument timbres and vocal clarity with large amounts of nuance and sound stage clues.

Like I said before I am really starting to love these WW SE cables-- and really the whole WW loom!

Roger
