WW Electra PC--What components does it match well with?
In my system a WW Electra 5.2 PC matches well with my Eastern Electric MiniMax Plus DAC. Sounds smoother, more detailed, purer (less grain), and removes some of the digital edginess as compaired with the stock power cable.
NOTE: I use WW Silver Electras for both preamp and power amp, as the all copper Electra sounds slower and duller in these positions in my system. Roger Last edited by Masterlu; 04-11-2013 at 04:07 PM. Reason: Typo

Recently received another WW Silver Electra 5.2 which I substituted for the WW Electra (copper) yesterday.
The Silver Electra was simply better in the DAC position than the Electra (copper) and made my system sound significantly more realistic! What can I say, I've come to the same conclusion as other AA members--I've gone WW Silver Electras now with all my power cords.  Roger Last edited by Steady339; 04-11-2013 at 04:20 PM.

Roger.......I have two systems that are powered with Wireworld Silver Electra power cables, 15 two meter length cables in all. I am completely satisfied with the results the Silver Electra delivers.

I truly lost count of all of my WW SE 2.0m cables, but if I had to guess I would say 60-80 between both locations.

Roger, I also switched from all WW Electras to WW Silver Electras. I thought it was worth it also. If I hadn't heard it with my own ears I wouldn't have believed it though.

After rolling preamp tubes from Mullard to Siemens E81CC triple micas to produce a more accurate high frequency response, I came back to my original conclusion:
the WW Electra (copper) can be useful to help reduce brightness in a system. By inserting the Electra into the DAC, excess high frequencies can be reduced to fine tune a system. Roger Last edited by Steady339; 06-05-2013 at 01:57 AM.

The excess brightness in my system now appears to be a burn-in issue of the new preamp tubes, and the new WW SE cables that have gone into my system recently.
Now that the burn in process is almost completed the brightness issue is gone and I have removed the WW Electra (copper) and reinserted the WW Silver Electra power cable back in the DAC position to produce superior sounding, balanced results. Last edited by Steady339; 06-05-2013 at 01:55 AM.
