I stumbled upon this album via Roon.
Wasn't aware of this cooperation.
We see Coltrane in a Ornette Coleman role here, but you can easily recognise his sound.

Recorded in June & July '60, but only released in '66.

I love this album, and the reissue sounds great.

I think hell must be freezing over: while searching for a link for the cover photo, I found the Tone Poet vinyl on Walmart.

Listening again to this gem.
