Europe's largest specialist trade fair for high-end entertainment, are you going?
Do you have plans to attend Europe's largest specialist trade fair for high-end entertainment?
I wonder if McIntosh will debut something significant there...... Trade Fair Info: http://www.tradefairdates.com/High-E...58/Munich.html |

I'll be there too. We usually combine with a week skiing the Hintertux glacier which is around 1.5 hours drive from Munich.

I just learned about this event about a week ago... wish I had known last year and would have made plans to fly on over. Looks like this will be a memorable audio adventure. |

We should have been there this week but my wife managed to fall last week and strain her ankle so she will have to hope she can get ski boots on by the next trip we plan to do in mid April!
For Hintertux we usually stay at the Stock resort in Finkenberg which I can highly recommend. |

Really depends what you want. In Mayrhofen, ski season ends early April so if you want to ski whilst visiting during Munich high End show, you'll need to drive up the Tux valley to Hintertux for the glacier..
Which hotel do you use in Mayrhofen? My favourite for many years was the Hotel Elisabeth which was the only 5* hotel in the village. Sadly last year they extended the hotel and targeted more of the package holiday trade. The hotel was managed excellently by Alexander Thaler but she has now left and things have changed quite a lot. If you have the opportunity, try the Stock Resort in Finkenberg which is really excellent. Last edited by custodian; 03-18-2015 at 08:13 PM. |

If McIntosh is introducing a product(s) at Munich, I hope, and hope is not the answer, that it's an upgraded set of high(er) end Preamps. The C1000/500 haven't seen a refresh, but most of the line has.
