+1. I have a 60" Kuro Elite plasma and it's the best, i convinced my father-in-law to get the 50" and he thinks it was a superb purchase as well. Check for deals...

May want to look at Pioneer's PDP-6020FD. My Pioneer rep Chris Keesee, said, doubt you'll see any difference in picture quality from the PRO. A lot of trickle down in later models.

Give it 6 months or so. The price will come down substantially...
