Default Wishing Everyone a NEGATIVE New Year!

Got tested yesterday morning and got the news this morning I’m still positive. No more fever but still get chills a couple of times a day. Mostly, it’s an on and off headache and feeling like all my energy is constantly being sucked out. Hopefully just another day or two and this will be over with. Thanks for asking.

Suggestion for the gang from Stephen, your friendly neighborhood molecular biologist.

Get some Sambucol* and take it 3X/day.

Sambucol shears off the spike proteins viruses use to enter their respective target cells via cell-surface receptors. I first started using it over 20 years ago when my cat, Eddie, became FIV+ (1) from incurring a fight wound from an FIV+ tomcat. As a molecular biologist, with first-author publications in PNAS on molecular immunology, I did the research and found out about Sambucol. It was developed by an Israeli immunologist. I kept my cat Eddie alive for 5 years after becoming FIV+; the vast majority of cats live...1 year. All my vets were dumbfounded, but...they weren't molecular biologists, so...there ya go. I've been using it for my own colds and flu since that time, as well. It will not prevent an infection, but it will shorten duration and severity of viral infections. It's most effective if taken every day during colds/flu season, before actually incurring an infection.

*-Not a substitute for vaccination or using appropriate safety measures, e.g. PPE, etc.

1 – FIV is the equivalent of HIV in cats. Causes exactly same morbidity and mortality.
