I got some advice on the iSine 20. I've kept it on the shelf, and it's my back up to the third IEM so it won't be getting too much use. However this info needs to be shared.

1: This isn't a walk around town IEM. The ear clip and silicone tip isn't enough to keep it in place. Most guys on a popular headphone forum think of this as a lightweight version of open back headphones to use when their head is tired from the weight. They don't think of it as a replacement for normal IEMs for moving around.

2: Spinfits. it's an aftermarket silicone tip, and it's better than all the combos I've tried from Audeze and comply. Foam offers better bass, but silicone when the seal is there offers very good bass while preserving other sonic details. Spinfits are also a lot more comfortable than all the other offerings.

3: There are hacks that combine a clip from a different headset and a 3D printed part to make it fit better. I'm about to give it a shot.

4: The first batch of cipher cables are obsolete. The old ones looks like a flat fettuccine noodle shape. The new one is lighter and more like a spaghetti shape. I haven't used this IEM much, but the new cable hasn't been buggy at all. It was replaced by Audeze when one of the monitors started shorting out.

So do I like this after all my drama? Yeah. I went through a lot to make it work. I think this headphone is ergonomically inferior and yet marvelous at the same time. The only thing I can't resolve so far is that the left ear isn't as loud, and the volume dips a lot when I lower my head to read. I still have a fit issue, but this IEM is worth a shot if your ears are the right fit.
