It should be okay for Spotify. Despite its shortcomings, many people like how it sounds.

Is it the new Node? This one is a bit of an upgrade over the 2i.

It is a nice streamer / controller. So if you desire an upgrade, you could get a better external DAC / preamp and continue to use the Node to access Spotify, Qobuz, Tidal, etc. So it's a nice building block.

Happy New Year! Quick question, do you think these speakers would be able to fill a large living room 15’ x 35’ with 11’ ceilings. I am trying to figure out some floorstanders to put along the short wall to fill the space with balanced sound. I am kind of edging towards Tekton perfect SET with the 12” driver or An Omega XRS model.

I don’t require high Db’s, but would like something that is going to full and satisfying throughout the space. Most listening is done at low volume to be honest.

Any chance your FA1 will be available at some point?

Cheers

Simon, I have not had the opportunity to place a pair fo the new Inspire loudspeakers in a room of your size. Therefore I am not sure they will provide the SPL levels you desire in that large of a listening room. Have a look at a newly completed pair of the Inspire FAS-1 speakers in Dennis’s listening room a few weeks ago:

Here I am in Dennis’s listening room three pairISP-1 w/Scott.JPGs listening room with three pair:

Oh, the last couple details like custom shipping boxes are in hand. The FA1 is ready to ship.

Those are beautiful, love the black and maple look. I’m not looking for big SPL levels but satisfying full range performance at low to moderate levels will suffice.
Nice work! I like the Inspire logo, a nice touch.
Now that you have shipping boxes do you have homes for your new creations?
Cheers

There are a couple of aftermarket power supply boards for the Node that allow the use of a linear power supply like the Allo Shanti. That makes a nice step up in SQ.
