Please recommend a good 1/4 to 3.5 mm adaptor.
The Denon AH-D7000 does not come with this adaptor. WTF right. Please recommend a good one.

Try Radio Shack.

I know "The Shack" has it, but is it any good? The Denon cans have high-end parts all the way down to the cable so I don't want to degrade it by adding a poorly design/made adaptor.

I have some Senn wireless and use The Shack adapter with my MA6500 & have no issues. I like to jam out outdoors sometimes. For the best results, I would get a headphone amp and run high quality IC's from you pre-out from your preamp or your integrated to that head phone amp. DJ.......I think Greg's suggestion of an outboard headphone amp is a good one. I have never enjoyed my Sennheiser HD600's more than after I added a HeadAmp Gilmore Lite Class A headphone amp with outboard power supply. Big difference.

Thanks for the link Michael. I just place my order. I've been eyeing the Grado adaptor on HeadRoom, but I prefer to support our AA member. :-)

I have an extra all brass Gold Plated one that came with my AKG K701's. I had to order one as mine disappeared. Of course after I got it mine miraculosly reappeared.
Pm me if you still need one. Regards, Jim

I agree with what other's have said about getting an outboard headphone amp. This will make far more difference than getting a fancy adaptor and still plugging it in to your preamp/integrated amp's headphone jack which are almost always compromised and of relatively poor quality. I am using a Musical Fidelity V-Can (MSRP $200) with my AKG 702's to good effect. I have it standing on it's side alongside my MA6500 and is hardly visible, and has jacks in both sizes. Plugs right into the tape out jacks. Recommended.
