Default New owner of 875HT

Just purchased a used 875HT for my HT. I plan on eventually purchasing a 2 or 3 channel amp for my front speakers, but until then I will be powering the fronts by bridging. Does anyone here have any input on this amp? Can't seem to find much info out there, but it seems like a very versatile amp. 75W x 8 up to 250W x 4 into 8 ohms..

Hi merkinman

Yes the 875 is analog (not digital) amplifier and the only difference between it and our other amplifiers is 4 channels share a power supply. So 2 huge power supplies and 8 channels.

All our other amplifiers have a single power supply for each channel.

Its a great amp for surround applications and should mate very well with your intention to add a 2 or 3 channel amp for your fronts going forward.
