You should be...the whole thing cost more than most U.S. existing home median sales price.

The TAD electronics are very impressive in performance. They also surprised me in that the electronics are A LOT better looking in person versus online pics/etc. The speakers, without question, are gorgeous and sound phenomenal!

Their is no doubt that TAD makes phenomenal Audio equipment! I just wish it was more affordable for common forks like me. I'm able to afford some of Pioneer Corporation reference series products (Elite SC-09TX), (Elite Pro 950HD) and the almighty DEX-P99rs. I have no compaints, they're all very will made and high performance. I enjoyed them tremendously... I'm a big fan of Pioneers products!

Any other AA'ers out there that have heard the full TAD reference setup? What were your thoughts?

I heard this system at the cape as well. It was in the same room with and directly opposite Ivan's Burmester/Grandioso/ Aida/JLSubs system which is crazy good and dialed in. I had listened to the Aida system before and was reasonably familiar with it and remain 'in lust' over it.

When we swiveled the chairs around to listen to the TAD system, I was at first unimpressed. It is a different degree of room pressurization, staging and tonal balance and was just short of shockingly different. HOWEVER, after letting my ears adjust, I remember telling my wife that I could live with this system (TAD) for ever. It had an overall clarity and clear mid-range that hung in front of you. More staging effect than the Aida system. It's location in the room was a slight compromise with asymmetrical speaker to wall locations and did not go as deep as the Aida system but I found myself drawn into it. I can't imagine anyone not being very happy with that system.

Do you think the TAD system would benefit from the addition of JL subs? Also, if I remember correctly, I believe Ivan said at the time of the demo, the TAD system may not have had dedicated outlets yet. He has since added dedicated outlets though.
