No, not yet. It boils down to sourcing bulk wire from manufacturers and incorporating those characteristics into the voicing of the speakers. Just like capacitors play a role in the final outcome, named brands are irrelevant as long as the final result is worthwhile. |

In a conversation with Straight Wire's Steven Hill a few years ago, I was told that SW supplies hook up wire to many speaker manufacturers.

I heard silent source reference is used for shows and what was voiced for cr-1.

Do you really think that's going to make a difference? Just use good cables. The fact that they like a particular wire for a couple of feet of internal wiring doesn't necessarily mean the full length speaker cables will be better than other good cables.

Probably not, but TAD's are unlike any other speaker I've heard. Some very good amps were, IMO, rendered inadequate leading me to believe EVERYTHING matters in this case.
