---It could be anything; your listening position, your speakers' positioning, the type of music you are now listening to more and more (Classical, Jazz, Blues, Rock, etc.), the new amp, preamp, source (analog or/and digital), new speaker wires, new interconnects, stones on top of your speakers or under your CD player or Turntable, ...anything at all.

...Even your perception.

Bob, I try to "discover" new artists (new to me, at least) fairly frequently. So, in a sense, I am listening to new stuff (with the help of Pandora). No upgrade in gear for a while, so that hasn't really changed. I occasionally play with speaker placement/toe-in to try and yield better results. I have come to the conclusion that I just really need the help of a pro...someone who does that sort of thing for a living. I just stick to the equilateral triangle for a solid base.

I will say that implementing in some WireWorld Silver Eclipse speaker cables has been a noticeable upgrade in clarity and speed. Too bad they are only borrowed demos....they go back soon.

---Sean, I'm like you; I listen to new music as much as I can.
Life's just too short to be stucked!

And one thing I really like here at AA is that I am inspired by other member's choice of music listening.

For sure! AA has introduced me to lots of new things, one of them definitely being new artists/bands.

-----Noah, then perhaps you should simply enjoy life by strictly listening to music, and not replying in threads like this one.
Or unless ....

I've upgraded to Wireworld gold Electras on my A and B rigs with platinums Electras on the 501's, and gold Eclipse XLR's. These fine cables were minty and quite affordable on the used market, but quantity made the total expenditure sting. It's fun to rediscover my music collection with the "new sound", the cables are letting thru more sound, there's more there and eventhough my 501's never lacked detail, they just needed the right power cords and interconnects to sound their best and let all the details thru.

What makes things even better Bob is that many of the cables were purchased right here on the AA Marketplace, Thanks AA!
