Christian, your system looks and must sound great!

Congratulations on your DIY speakers, I followed your earlier thread

I have the Burmester 911 on my shortlist, maybe as a pair of monos

I noticed you had an Aurender streamer before (which model?), how does the Burmester 151 stack up?

And seems you added the Esoteric LS, assume that must make quiet a difference

Enjoy!

Congrats Christian, that's quite a nice system you've assembled! Was wondering how I never heard of those speakers nor recall seeing them before and now I know why. Enjoy it in the best of health!

911's as mono, you would have to have a very inefficient speaker to need them as mono's, the amp has a lot of balls. i have the aurender a20 in another system, its a fine piece but the burmester is quite a bit better, i never used the a20 as a streamer only, i use it for the preamp function as well, compared to the burmester 151 mk2 both being used as streamer preamps the burmester is better by a mile, as a stand-alone streamer i have no idea

the esoteric is a wicked piece
