Heard Alexx tonight
Tonight I was fortunate enough to be the first to hear the Alexx, powered by d'agostino progression mono blocks. It all went down in Seattle at definitive audio.
What I heard was stunning. Among the best I've ever heard. The room was definitely not ideal for a speaker like this, yet it impressed. What captured me the most was the effortless and realistic midrange. I've never heard a 4 way speaker, or at least I've never scrutinized one. Let me just say that I've heard a lot of wilson speakers in my life, but this one is special in the mids. It will captivate you with its emotional truth. Marc
Thanks for the update. I'm looking forward to hearing them soon. Did they indicate the pricing of the new D'Agostino Progression series amps? |

Oh man... Lol it was far better than what I have. I can't get over the sound of voices. Might be better than the xlf.

Dan said that these have a little less finesse than the momentum, but are designed for the guy with a big room that "really really wants to rock out". Dan's words! |

These caught my eye in your pictures because I really liked the look. I've always found the way D'agostino amps look an acquired taste. Love the sound. Last edited by Soundserge; 03-03-2016 at 10:51 AM. Reason: Clarity. |
