Only pieces left....a house to live in and a pair of Bryston Model T’s from Mr. Ivan.

Nice!

Not my idea of a good demo/room/speaker setup (one can hear it is very reflective and bright) but listening "through all that" one can get an idea of what the MC12000 looks and sort of sounds like. Midrange is very promising. I would love to hear it under more optimal conditions.

Forget the sound--I am BLOWN AWAY by the showroom. In Milan? It's as if high end audio had grown like the rest of the world since we were kids, instead of shrinking on the vine. It looks like normal human beings could walk in, enjoy themselves for an hour, and go home to fill their house with beautiful music.

That's only the store front. The rest of it is quite impressive. My area had quite a few very nice showrooms for high end and more than half of them eventually closed. Not sure why the model does not work here as well.

I think people appreciate music more overseas in general.

For. a Youtube video it sounds pretty damn good. I suspect the MA1200 will be a big seller for Mcintosh.

Good looking unit..wonder how much work it is to get to those tubes to change them out? Doesn't look as easy to open up as their pure, pre-amps.

Beautiful! In Massachusetts we have two left standing--Natural Sound in Framingham (my dealer), and Goodwin's High End in Waltham. Both terrific, but neither embraces the beautiful aesthetic and openness to all vibe of those photos.

I think the US has this funny combination of materialism and insistence on the lowest possible price that makes it very hard to sell beauty, art, and similar intangibles. So we prefer Dunkin Donuts to perfect croissants, and big box stores to specialty boutiques.

Long live Walmart...

I can say a lot about it but it is a topic that I really don't want to get into.

I'll just say this, we need more parks with swans swimming in fountains that are beating to the beautiful classical music. Others have them, we don't. Culture is what drives the country and we have very little left....

I meant an actual audition in person. Youtube is obviously not a tool for evaluating speakers but certain speaker characteristics become readily apparent even from youtube videos.

I have no doubt the MA12000 is a very impressive piece and I'd be willing to bet the midrange of this new integrated will win over many listener's ears.

I seriously doubt that I’ll do it but I have been considering selling my existing system to buy this integrated amp.
