I made a nice single serving of Bulleit bourbon with two ice cubes. Got distracted by this forum for two seconds during which my wife moved like a ninja through the room.

Now I can't find my bourbon. Hmmmm... Wife seems awful happy, though. Very interesting.

Luckily, neither the bottle not the ice trey is empty. Guess I'll make a new drink!

Djwhog - negative. I did not spring for the 10 year. Is it worth it?

My replacement shot was the last. Luckily there is a bottle of Oban in the cabinet. Hmmmm....

I think it is a little smoother more refined and a little smokey, similar to Woodford Reserve, but still a classic bourbon and not as sweet as a wheat. I think for the extra ten bucks it is a very nice bottle. Do you have a bar or store you ca do a tasting? Take care...

My daughter got me a set of those granite cubes that live in the freezer, that said many of the whiskey masters told me most in the 92 - 96 proof are a little hot so that 1 Or 2 ice puts it back to 86 - 89 which is most intend.. Either way and I can see that as gospel or not it works both ways great for me just the same
