Where are Klipsch Made?
I know that the 'heritage' speakers are still assembled in AK and 'think' the new ones are 'made' in Indiana. Am I correct or are they new models made in China? Where are the new drivers made? USA or China? I'm giving some serious thought to a pair of Klipsch speakers, but won't purchase if they are Chinese/Asian. Marantz and Krell from Asia and now JBL from Mexico are bad enough. Thanks.

Klipschorns, LaScala II's, Cornwall III's and Heresy's are built in Hope, Arkansas. I think the new RF-7 II's are also built there.
May want to call Klipsch direct to find out where the model you are thinking about are built. 1-800-KLIPSCH |

The K-Horns, La Scala II, Cornwall III, Heresy III, RF7-II, RC-64 and P39F models are made in Hope, Arkansas. All other Reference and Palladium models as far as I know are made in China. Too bad there are so many speaker brands and models being made overseas to remain competitive, but I'm happy that my Heritage and extended Heritage series speakers were all born in the USA

If you ever get out to the beach, stop by and listen to a Heritage system (with a few mods including JBL) |

Hi Brad, we had a slight change of course. I'm doing evereything to them with the exception of the Sellenium D405, midrange horn and the CornScala crossover. Michael made me some new B-3 networks. The drivers and networks should be here Monday and Tuesday.
Those two things can still be done later if it becomes more affordable for me. I'm pretty sure I can get the motorboard out by emptying the cabinet and pounding it out from the inside with a rubber mallett. The reason I say that is because Bob is now making new motorboards for Heresy's and he even offered to make me some Cornwall boards with the right spacing for the mid-horn. Keeping the woofer where it is doesn't leave much material for support between the drivers. My wife didn't like the cain grills so Bob also sent me some grill cloth and I was fortunate enough to get some grill frame boards from Budman at his house.
