Myles
Excellent review. How would you compare the Doshi with some of the well regarded phono stages of yester years , say a Nagra VPS ?
Nagra owner disclaimer.

Myles.......Impressive review and enjoyable read from start to finish. The Doshi phono stage sounds like a must audition in that price range or higher. Thanks for the link.

Padeep:

Sorry but I didn't have very much experience with the Nagra. Nagra had very limited penetration into the US market.

I think that any of the phono sections mentioned in the piece exceed most of yesteryears pieces particularly in the lack of artificiality and better dynamics, noise and especially resolution Not to mention the gain issue for many older phono sections.

Myles
Many thanks.
What are your impressions of the Lyra Atlas vis a vis the new ZYX Universe 2?
Cheers
