Wow, quite a nice collection. What are your criteria for deciding which to listen to?

Good question.

It's a 2-step decision making process: which cans sound best with which amp, and, to a lesser degree, which is most sympathetic to a given recording? For example, the Little Dot (tube amp with upgraded bottles) is only used with AKG K702, K550, and HD600. In fact, it's the only K550 combo I can tolerate. The bigger Meier Audio amp (the Concerto) is hooked up to the turntable, the smaller Meier is mostly used for its crossfeed feature with early stereo pressings. The Violectric is used with everything; really a great sounding amplifier with a warm, natural, somewhat forgiving tonal balance.

Nice headphone rig! Here is mine on a cheap stand in the garage hastily set up on a short trip home earlier this year. I use Audeze LCD-2's, Sennheiser HD 700's & 800's, Beyer T-1's, Stax 507's, SR-009's, and Sennheiser HE 60's and 90's among others.

I just need a better rack next time home! Thanks. I enjoy swapping notes about different headphone rigs. I rely heavily on them while working at sea.
