Being in black or dark silver would make it look much sleeker. Hide all the vents.

When we go to ALMS races, the Corvette Corral is far more geriatric than the Porsche, BMW and other car corrals. Younger people mostly don't really care about 'Vettes. I'm more or less in the Corvette Corral age bracket, but the car just doesn't have any allure for me.

I do like watching Corvette Racing compete, now that they are racing against someone other than themselves.

Since I no longer work and can't get into preview days I have to wait to see the new Vette at NAIAS next week. I am hoping it looks a bit better in person. In general it isn't bad, a bit angular with a rear end that looks too much Camaro.

No, you are not. It is a polarizing design. I'm not a fan based on the pictures. Will wait to see it in person.

Jim.......I had the same thought about the rear appearance. It looks like a radical Camaro.

I tried to like it. I don't. The back is awful. Not just the angles, but the straight line cleave at the side rear. I also agree about the plasticky looking bits and bobs. It looks like Honda made a Fast and Furious Ferrari knock off for 22 yr olds in the early 2000s.

Disclaimer: I'm of the generation that, by and large, never really "got" the Corvette.

The interior "cockpit" is throw back or retro look I would have left out.

Exclamation I would be a Buyer for sure ...

Well after reading pages of thoughts/comments I think I can now put in my 2-cents.

If I was not 67 years old and did not own the 2008 Bullitt Mustang I have.

I'll go on the "Official" record here on AA stating the following.

I would purchase one of these New Vette's no doubt.

It is one Awesome looking Machine IMHO.

There you have it gang from a Ford current owner that would switch to one of the Chevrolet New Vette's.
