I’ve been enjoying tube rolling the 4 tubes in my 6FLV-v driving some Decware T-6’s for awhile now, but when I saw the new speaker design of Mr. Had, I became so fascinated I had to join the site to find out more. If they are only 14” in height & dig lower than the T-6’s, I have a place for them here at home. Otherwise I think a sub might be warranted for this particular rig. But what really warms my heart are the pictures posted of the PSE300B. Since learning about this beauty last November, let’s just say my “fancy” was tickled. Maybe it was the “Big Boy” amp comment or saying one would need a permission letter from their wife to be able to order one, it was hook, line & sinker for me. I’m glad Blackcat considers the PSE300B an upgrade over his mono-blocks as I’ve heard high praise for that Canadian brand. My 300B experience is much more modest consisting of my Willsenton R300 & my dreams of Sarah with the dark brown hair. But that’s about to change.

If you don't already have your order in, do it sooner then later. Not only is there a sizable waiting list, but delivery can be slowed by availability of parts like chassis and iron, amongst other things. PM me if you need details....

Dr. Analog Addict:
Sir, this is the primary reason for me joining this forum. But I don’t think I have the ability to PM anyone until I have successfully reached the 10 safe post level. It is my understanding that Mr. Had was taking a break from accepting new orders until his waiting list is shorter. On the other hand if I’m not mistaken “Showme” might have have received his order quite quickly just recently.

#2, ah,ah,aah!!

Only the LP-2030. Which I love. I’m patiently (maybe anxiously would be more accurate) waiting for my 300B-v.

Default Pse 300b

Two boxes just arrived & I opened the lighter one. I was warned to use caution when opening the heavier package. More on that later.

Well guess what? In the other box was an Inspire Fire-Bottle 300 PSE (probably the first time I got the name right) Holy sonic details, is this thing sweet. Dennis said he stretched it out on the new Inspire 3.1 stand mounted speakers & in a couple of weeks these might be ready to go too!! I think I want to get in line already.

These little 300B-v amps and the big brother 300B-PSE are quite something. And with the LP-2030 preamp, just a beautiful combination. Here is mine.

Fantastic, I can't wait. If you don't mind me asking what are the dimensions of the 300B-v. I'm trying to make sure I'm allowing enough of my rack space.

Thanks,
